With the ever-evolving nature of the oil and gas industry we rely on API (American Petroleum Institute) as an industry body to regulate, lobby governments and maintain a safety culture by publishing and monitoring certification of industry standards.
Sharpe remains focused on the hands-on training and educating of staff and this is no exception for our QA team. Over the last number of months we have had 4 members of staff travel to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to learn about the changes in API Q-1’s 9th Edition and how it affects our business.
API’s hands-on course allows us to draw relevance from the standard to our business model and ensures our management and QA team correctly interpret the latest standards.
