Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

We're looking for a full-time Financial Analyst (Manufacturing) to support and enhance our recently implemented Epicor Kinetic ERP system through data-driven insights in a standard cost environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with a strong costing/manufacturing/inventory skill-set looking to make their next move into a leading business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain cost standards for materials and labour, including regular reviews of depreciation, labour, and overhead rates.
  • Ensure accurate costing of inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) through regular updates and maintenance of standard costs.
  • Review and report on price, production, and margin variance analysis
  • Provide reporting and analysis on raw materials, WIP, finished goods inventory, and rental equipment pool to support supply chain and operations.
  • Work closely with procurement for material cost movements
  • Reconcile inventory and WIP to the general ledger.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support commercial decision-making.
  • Continual system and process improvements

What we’ll be looking for in you: 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CIMA/CPA Qualified or studying towards
  • Knowledge of product accounting and standard costing with advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to extract and interrogate data, preferably with SQL query writing experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • You will have a confident and engaging interpersonal skill-set
