28-year-old Jordan Webb has been put straight to work manufacturing our signature TorqStopper® range after becoming the newest tradesperson to join the Sharpe® team.
Jordan completed his 4-year apprenticeship as a Fitter and Turner early this year and joins the Sharpe Engineering team at our Zillmere workshop.
Jordan is now part our highly qualified team of nearly 100 staff across the business in Roma, Virginia and Zillmere.
Where possible, we employ locals who want to be part of their community and we are always looking for new ways to improve our systems by investing in more staff training.
Sharpe® has employed more than a 100 apprentices during its 25 years in business and there are currently 22 training with the company.
We’re proud of our apprenticeship program and the fact that training people like Jordan creates employment opportunities and puts expertise back into the community.
Quality people make quality products.
